After completing a degree in Computer Science at Hertford College, Oxford, Biggles ran away to Paris to draw and paint. He enrolled in the Fine Art and Illustration course as a visiting student at Parsons Paris School of Design where he focused on strong colours and composition. Later, Biggles studied at the London Atelier of Representational Art where colours were banned to focus on precise draftsmanship and the drawing techniques of old masters. Biggles’s first exhibition of oil paintings in London at 3 Bedfordbury showed a variety of landscape pieces from across London and South Africa. Subsequent commissions combine interiors, landscape and portraiture. This portfolio website shows pieces from each stage of this artistic journey. Biggles paints the world the way he sees it: full of variety, colour, optimism and life.
Biggles is unfortunately not currently available for commission. He now works as a full-time independent game developer dedicated to creating his own unique brand of interactive entertainment.
